Community Engagement Program

Vetwork spends a good deal of our efforts on community outreach. Our programs are designed to provide information to the general public regarding who we are, what programs we provide, and Veteran services that Veterans may not be aware of. We provide these services quite frequently throughout both Ocean and Monmouth County. Previously, we have presented to groups including VFWs, American Legions, Elementary Schools, Retirement Communities, and other veteran groups.

We are happy to provide speakers who can address particular concerns. Our lead speaker is Brigadier General Richard O’Meara, Ph.D. Richard O'Meara is a teacher, scholar, and mentor who teaches courses on International Relations, Security Studies, and Global Affairs. A retired Brigadier General, USA, and trial attorney, O’Meara received his Ph.D. in Global Affairs from Rutgers University and Juris Doctorate from Fordham University.
