A Letter of Thanks

August 25, 2016

As a grassroots non-profit 501c3, Vetwork could not exist for the last twenty nine years without your support. Every day we here at Vetwork strive to help the homeless veterans of Ocean County. Recently one of the homeless veterans we assisted into a special program for homeless veterans sent us a warm hand written letter that we’ve hung in our office, omitting the name. We’d like to share this with you, not for self appreciation but to share with you the impact Vetwork has on homeless veterans of Ocean County every day

Dear Maryanne, Gary and Jesse,

I hope this short but sincere missive finds you all well.

My words cannot adequately express my thanks and appreciation to all of you for your helpfulness, sincerity, kindness, generosity an respect you all afforded me in my time of need.

In my opinion, Vetwork is doing great work as an organization to help displaced veterans.

But more importantly, in my opinion Vetwork in Forked River, has the right people, you three, administering that work and help.

I wish you all the vest in everyday.

Again, thank you so much.

Sincerely & Humbly,

Name Omitted

P.S. – I have every intention and will write the V.A. Administration praising your work and asserting how your organization deserves any an all funding (available) to continue your work.

Because of the continued support of the community, generous donations of cash, food, clothing and resources, the twenty nine year legacy of service to our homeless veterans continues. Without you we could not complete our mission. This letter echoes the voices of dozens of veterans helped into programs, as well as mirrors the thanks of hundreds of mouths fed from the food pantry.

Today and every day we continue to support, and strive to help all of Ocean County’s Homeless Veterans.
